Regardless of Matt Capri's reputation, that is a hot bike. I dig the colors and the S3 front end, and the mag wheels. I can't tell from the pic if it has dual front disks or not...not that it NEEDS them, but they sure look cool.

Hmmm, He had a nice rolling chassis with his big bore motor, upside down forks all kinds of nicely machined details.

That is awesome.
Maybe Motorcyclist would give THAT bike a good review .....because it is closer to a Duc GT... :wink:

For a minute I thought it was a T-Bird! Still Matt builds some incredible 1 offs. "Sweat" I don't know what you think his reputation is, but I got to meet, and ride with the man, and as far as I'm concerned he is one of us.

He rode a custom framed 1150cc 120hp +/- Bonnie Street Tracker that was the Shyte, and the Man Did the Bizness with us. Fast as he could be on roads I know well and he'd never ridden.

I know the man & as far as I'm concerned his "Rep" is Golden!

Looks like Ohlins forks and Oz wheels. Much higher spec than the S3.

Well it never was a Thruxton, not a black engine, so it prob started as a Bonnie. I think it has a great dirt tracker look to it; almost like the white bike Mule built that was at the motorcycle show two or so years ago. Really needs the Scrambler's pipes to complete the look though.

TBSStuna, the Thruxton does not have a black engine. It has a black head, like this bike does, so it is/was a Thruxton.

Orthopedic shoes...I stand corrected.

Regardless I stil think this bike makes a great tracker and would look better with scrambler pipes. Then again I like modern running gear on a sporty retro.

That is very nice. It needs clip ons, though (or are those some really high clip ons?). I thought my bike would be the only Thruxton with an Ohlins fork, but now someone has beaten me to it. Mine will be done by springtime...I hope. I have to make about 20 parts, including top and bottom triple clamps. I tried clicking on the picture of this bike on the British Customs page, but nothing happened. Is that the only picture they have?

I won't comment about what I don't know, but I will tell you this, the "Street Tracker" he was riding was insanely fast. Lofted the front wheel at will and dusted a 675 in a bit of a drag race we had on a long straight!

The street tracker was built on a Bonnie Motor in a C&J frame, with Aprillia Mille front end and an Ohlin in the rear! Clean & very well executed contstruction.

And if I had the budget, I'd go see Matt and have him build me a Robo-Thrux! Maybe not quite like the one in the pic, but with all the best goodies & one of his tire shredding motors.

That is verrrry nice. I'd paint it red, give it a "monsteresque" bug smasher, and stick the Zard "cross" (the TT lookin' one) exhaust on it. It does appear to be built using a similar formula as the Thunderbird verySport ala TBStunta. I wonder what kind of power it makes? One of these bikes with about 80-85 HP would be hysterical :-D !

I saw a dyno run for a stock Speed Triple, and a bonnie with a wiseco 904 and 41mm mikunis makes a good deal more torque at a lot lower RPM than the 1050cc motor does, so dusting a 675 should be easy...until that lil' triple winds up a bit.

What kind of torque does that 675 motor make anyway, and at what rpm?
