Read some threads that mentioned the "triumph lean". Anyone know the correct amount of lean on a 1968 Triumph 650 while on the side stand. Mine seems to lean quite a bit. Some concern regarding the integrity of factory brazing on the side stand mount. new to the forum and triumphs in general.
Thanks in advance for your answers.

Lean on sidestand

I had a 71 that the sidestand broke off one day after about six months, new bike, dealer brazed it back on, it fell off again so got a centerstand and forgot about it.
Likely could have been an issue in those years but never met anyone else who had it happen.

Is there a reason why the part can't be welded on instead of brazed? I'm unfamiliar with the setup, but welding the piece on if they are known to have the brazing break seems like the way to go.
