Good to see a triumph on in a commercial / TV ad. I saw an ad a few weeks ago for a funeral plan, the main man in the ad had a street twin in the garage. I'll see if I can find it.

Yup nice commercial. Been seeing for a few weeks off and on around here.

Machine used is '78 TR7RV or TR7V depends on whose model records you believe. NOT a common machine in the States. Total production for that Model Year was about 406 units of which I am sure most were sold in the UK.

This one has similar coloring to the 1970 TR6 models. From the Factory it would have been a Candy Apple Red with Silver Flashes and a double lined stripe black on the inside gold on outside separating the Red/Silver.

May take a look at the commercial later on a big screen to see what the other bike is.

You don't get a real good shot of the second bike but I was thinking triple and the canted motor would be Rocket 3.
I could easily be totally wrong, though.
I don't think I've ever seen a Rocket 3 on the road, even back in the 70s.

Makes sense to show it in a medication commercial. Riding a Triumph makes a lot of things better.

You can tell it's not real life, any self-respecting Triumph twin owner would start the bike in the shed for the aural pleasure.

I'd be more impressed if they tightened the Driveside mirror before the machine was pulled out of the garage. Always disliked that style mirror. Personally I preferred bar ends like on the other machine. To each their own.
