Hello there folks I was hoping that some of you classic bike guys could help me out.I have the oppurtunity to get a triumph 5t motorcycle the engine # is 5t03894 and the number on the frame is Y14-4882 what I'm trying to find out the year of the bike,is it a matching numbers bike,some of the other fine guys on this forum were a lot of help with info on web sites but I'm still stuck with the year of the frame the motor I was told was a 1958 model.

Hi denbo, 03894 was NEVER ISSUED and the frame number you give is a CASTING NUMBER, WALK AWAY FROM IT.

Roy thank you for the help and the info I knew there was a reason why it was so hard to check out those serial numbers.

Roy one thing I forgot to mention was that it does come with a title with those numbers on it.
