Congrats on the barn find! Those are getting rarer than hens teeth these days. You can get all those parts new from one of the U.K. Triple specialists, if nowhere else. Frankly, thats what I would do, if it were me. Being one of those aforementioned amalforever fans, I will state that I am no fan of old, worn out AMALS. I think you would have major headaches trying to get those Mikunis to work right. Those carbs were originally installed on a two stroke,so assuming they are the right size,not only will you have to rejet all three carbs, but you will have to change the slide cut-aways, and most likely the jet needles as well.

As a barn find you may feel you shouldn't put a lot into it, but maybe thats backwards thinking. You don't have a huge initial investment, right? So, why not put some of those savings toward making it right to start with?
