Just got my 2002 Saphire Blue ST back from the dealer today. She's been having idling issues. Come to find out it was a rubber idle washer that expaneded...Not sure on the mechanics...bu, OK?

Anyway, just thought I'd ask about trading in my ST, which has 21,000miles on her. I was given a trade in value of $5,000 plus some change.

What are your impressions of this value???

that actually doesn't sound too bad if he isn't yanking yor chain to get you interested in new bikes.

I just picked up a 2003 with 7K miles for that, so a 2002 with 3X the miles, I would be suprised a dealer would offer you that much actually.

Sounds about right to me. You ain't going to get great resale on any Triumph. That's why I decided to keep mine and ride it until it costs too much to fix.
