I've not seen a track day that requires wiring bits. Taping yes. I normally remove the mirrors and tape lights and indicators. Word of warning. Laughed my head off when my mate taped his headlight on his new GSX-R600 and melted the lens as is was a bike where you cannot turn off the headlights (new EEC regulations).

The UK fix is to get the switchgear fitted off a year earlier model!

I was scared shitless whilst on a trackday at Llandow (Wales) when the guy in front of me who I was catching rapidly with my right knee on the ground, started to brake mid corner. I'm glad I saw those brake lights. I had to close the throttle, roll out wide before nailing it to cut underneath him. What a prick :evil:
