Guys,
I had my 500 mile service done. I also had them install the TOR exhaust. The bike seems to run smoother and with a bit more power. The sound isn't much louder. Just meaner.
I'm liking this bike more each day!

Thats great to hear, I'm waiting on the TOR and while it is in getting a sprocket change one down in the front and one up in the back. I'm a heavy rider (250 lbs) so this should do the trick to keep me up with the lighter pack riders.

Ara, which LA dealer are you using and was the service satisfactory? I just did an oil change myself, but eventually I will want to get the warranty work done (drag link bolt and heat shield kit at least), and the TOR installed (or at least the tune if I buy the pipe on-line and install the hardware myself). Good reasons to try a different dealership to what I used last time.

I used SoCal Motorsports in Santa Ana. That's where I bought the bike. They give a 15% off 1st service coupon. Mario was the mechanic. I bought the R&G sliders and had him put them on also. He was very professional and seemed to do a great job. So far no complaints.

Thx Ara - I assume they did the work while you waited (that's quite a ways from Valencia!), or did they offer a loaner? Regardless I may well give them a try first quarter of next year.
BTW I think you'll like the sprocket change when they do it - I just came back from a loop through the San Gabriels via Glendora ridge road and Mnt Baldy (many tight switchbacks) - did much of the climbing in 2nd (used to drop to 1st on the OEM sprocket), and aside of the road works and a little ice on the road @ 7000ft it was fun!
