It is strange - Bike Bandit doesn't show the "Head Race Adjusters" on their Service Tools list.

Has anyone lubricated the steering head bearings without buying these 38mm "Head Race Adjusters". If so, what did you use?

I got in touch with the guys at BikeBandit - they have their own part no. for this OEM tool (though it's not in any of the diagrams I looked at) -they list it as part no. 555 9232-001 at $54.09. I ordered them, figure lubing the head stock bearing is necessary.

alternate vendor?

My first BikeBandit order - delivery took 2 weeks ($7.95 to ship USPS!) and it is the wrong part.

They sent me a tool to set fork seals on a Honda. It says the correct part number and description on the packing slip, but the box has the wrong part in it.

I'm not impressed. Where else can we order these kind of OEM tools from?
