Just test drove an XC but favoring the lower height of the XR as I'm 5'10. Coming from a VFR interceptor and a Thruxton 900 I prefer a slight forward lean. Is it possible to lower the handles or change the bar so I can get that slight lean that I prefer? Outside of that its the perfect bike for how my wife and I like to ride. Any help is appreciated!

The stock handlebars on the XRx and XCx are adjustable for reach. Not sure about the standard XR/XC models. The info below is from the owners manual. Or you could simply rotate them forward or aft til suitable. Hope this helps.

Handlebar Adjustment
The handlebars are adjustable for reach
by approximately 0.8 in (20 mm).

To adjust the handlebars, loosen and
remove the handlebar rear (0.31 in
(8 mm) threaded) clamp fasteners, and
then the front (0.39 in (10 mm) threaded)
clamp and riser fasteners.
1. 0.39 in (10 mm) fasteners
2. 0.31 in (8 mm) fasteners
Lift the handlebars out of the handlebar
risers and support with the aid of an
assistant.
Rotate both risers through 180° and
align the fixing holes.
Reposition the handlebars to the risers.
Reinstall the upper clamps, and secure
with the two 0.39 in (10 mm) threaded
fasteners in the rear fastener positions.
Do not fully tighten the fasteners at this
stage.
