I read somewhere on twistedthrottle.com site that the 99-00 Tiger 855i's bodywork is the same as the 00-06 tiger 955i. Is that true?

If so, would this centerstand fit on the 00 tiger 855i?

The answer is yes,all of the body work in the photo is 885 and the center stand is as well,the body fits pefectly but in actual fact is not identical when you compare side by side.

If my Tiger 855i can look half as good as yours in the near future, I will be a happy man.

So, if the body's are the same, would it be possible to find a 955i engine (luck!), and swap it on my 2000 855i?

How about the suspension options, wouldn't they be the same too?

Suspension is the same as the front end on the 885i is particularly soft you will notice a major difference,as far as the motor is concerned i'm not sure,if my bad memory serves me right i think the backets/plates on top of the motor to the frame are different,but nothing that couldn't be modded.

I have actuually seen an 885i with 06 cast wheels and the swing arm to go with it.

7 spoke Dymag,i'm amazed no one ever clocked the front tyre,i posted that picture some years and ago and nearly had a heart attack when i realised it was showing the tyre,all a minor detail now.

What brand are your engine guard and skid plate?

Skid plate is just stock Triumph!!,the bars are Touratech.

And they work!!

Hey guys! I just purchased a 2000 Tiger 885i. Looking to fit a nice muffler on it any suggestions? And what are the years 955i pipes fit on the 885i?
