Hi recently went to adjust compression dampers on the front forks of my tbird sport, trouble is previous owner had screwed them right in to limit ..Hard! After hours with with penetrating fluids ,freeze spray etc finally managed to free one which is now wgorking fine and seems to improve handling and comfort .Other one just wont move!.As one is still right in and one 4 clicks out does that unbalance suspension?seems ok ?Also does anyone have a picture ,good diagram if what screw and mechanism looks like as have no idea of what Im dealing with?.Did think of drilling small hole in spigot containg damper screw as far as the brass screw to get some releasing fluid to threads as dont think any is getting in from screw head .Good idea or not? I wouldn't drill it unless you intend to replace it.
