So I got a 1995 thunderbird 900, over 2 years ago and when I got it the loom was butchered, the neutral sensor was unplugged but the neutral light was always on.

The 3 clutch switch were all wired together but the bike started and ran fine. Apart from the neutral light always being on (even when I had disconnected the neutral sensor.

Then the indicators started playing up. And working interminable. I checked the fuse and the box around started melting.

So to fix that I put a separate wiring harness for the indecators in direct from the battery but used the original switch gear.

Now this is were it gets weird, I removed the tape from the clutch switch wires and found when only 2 were connected not all 3 the bike ran fine and the neutral light even when off in gear (RESULT).

UNTIL!!! Went on a 15mile run 2s up so no break neck speeds everything is fine until we stop and I turn the bike off after a coffee and smoke break jump. Back km the bike and Boom its dead! Won't start but all the lights work,

But the neutral light is off even when it's in neutral!! Tried bumping and jumping bike.

Even when I shorted the starter solanoid it did nothing,

What I'm asking is anyone shead some light on the latest problem, and second I have a trophy 900 loom and igniter (cheap ebay win) could I use that loom on the thunderbird??? Same motor?
