My brother just bought an 05' Thruxton and wants to purchase a fender elim kit. He's looking at both the newthruxton.com kit @ http://www.newthruxton.com/html/fender_eliminator_kit.html and also the british-customs kit @ http://www.british-customs.com/store/triumph-motorcycle-parts-accessories/british-customs-fender-eliminator-kit.html

We both think the british-customs kit is alot cleaner looking but wondering which kit is better. the newthruxton kit comes with a protective piece and not sure about the bc kit. Which one is the better of the two. We can always use the bc kit and purchase the protective cover seperately.

thanks

steiveteabags, anything special about that bc led plate? Does it seam a custom part or pretty generic. I've been searching and can find those similar plates as low as 10 bucks on the web. Simple 2-3 wire connections. Or does BC do something special?

thanks

Mines home brewed as well - no body even sold a kit 2 1/2 years ago so it was out of necessity. Easy to do and the cost is about what you spend on the tail light. I used 1/8 aluminum and formed the bracket from that. Tail light is a billet LED oval unit from the local custom shop. JCW
