I can not wait to get the bike out and start riding again. Over the weekend we had snow, freezing rain and it was cold. Yet my buddy in NJ was telling me how he got to ride. All I can do is think of the past summer and the one to come....

I can understand Lee, I only got to go out for a 4 hr ride on Friday and a 2 hr ride on Monday. Cloudy and 29C

Spewing!! :-D Sorry to rub salt into the wound..

P.S. They are forecasting rain for the entire week here if that makes you feel any better.

Go ahead I deserve it, I was the one who decided to move here. The rain will hopefully help your drought...

There was a report that Oz had above average rainfall last year - only it was in the unpopulated areas !! (9/10ths of our land of beauty).

There is a major cyclone heading towards northern W.A. today and they are expecting flooding now after 6 years of severe drought. :(

The adage is correct - it never rains, but it pours.

Still, that said.. I wouldn't live anywhere else.

The only reason that I didn't get to ride more on the weekend is because I was installing a 7000 gallon rain water tank!!

It is our only means of obtaining water (besides trucking it in) and the sporadic downpours mean that we have to be able to store more water to take us through for a longer period !!

We are hurting here in Denver. I've had 4 feet of snow at my house in the past couple of weeks. It's supposed to be 40's or better the next few days, but who knows.

I put Stabil in our bikes for the first time in the three years we've lived here. :(

Steven I hope the rain helps the drought situation. I have photos of Australia a friend brought back. I could not believe how blue the water looked. The only thing I would be nervous about is being dinner for a great white. But even paradise has to have some draw backs.
Scrambler yea I love the way the Rocket handles. I had put a deposit down on a Speedmaster but every time I went to the shop I kept checking out my Rocket. It was if it was talking to me. I would love to be able to ride in the snow, but I would hate dropping an 800 lb bike especially on myself. lol :) :) :) :)
