Well, as I'm sure many of you have seen Tekky's post 'bout camp'n out fer a PS3, that's where the cheapster has been fer the past 32 hours! :hammer: That's right, got in line Wed night about 11pm, was #9 in line, and the store was saying they were supposed to git 10, but there were no guarantees. So I guess you guys can see where this is going already. 1st of all, believe it or not, people will pay big $$$$ fer 'em on ebay. That's the only reason I was there. I figured if I could make atleast a cool $1500 it was well worth my time! I watched the xbox360's sell fer over $5k last year, just fer the gaming console. So I thought I would play those fools this year, and make my fair share of money off of the rich. Well, didn't happen, the cheapster got played! :( The store got a whopp'n 8 units. Now you guys remember what # the cheapster was??? :hammer: Off to bed now fer a little real sleep.

btw, did I mention I've had about 4-1/2 hrs sleep since Wed morning at 5:30am??? :hammer:

Even worse, it's now 8:30am Friday morning and here I am post'n on Trat! :hammer: Off to sleep! :-D

They had a policeman in full uniform jump the queue down here. He just walked into the #4 spot in line and said "this is my spot, anyone got a problem with that". He is now under investigation. He is an 18 year vet also. :???:

Limey, that will be the most expensive toy the DMF ever got. It pisses me off when LEO do something this ignorant. The ol 1 aw s**t wiping out all the good dogs. 18 year veteran obviously doesn't and shouldn't represent his community. Some people just have no honor. Sad.

Cheap, just heard the store manger got caught holding that 9th unit and it was sold just after you packed up! :hammer:

aww cheap,,, man,, that blows bigtime, you shoulda had a tazer with you, you could have paid someone to "just try it" then they would be flopping around like a salmon while you took their spot.

I'am not laughing, just slightly amused. :-D How many vacation days did you have to burn for the privelage of sleepin in a parking lot for two days. As far as the cop goes, see what i mean. Not me bro. :???:

So I get assigned to a store that only has two ps3's to sell. The first two in line are a husband and wife that spent about 3 days together. I'm waiting in the store for them to make the purchase and they begin fighting. " I don't care keep the money from the playstation as long I never have to see you're face again!" They sold one in the parking lot for $2,000 and left talking about getting divorced. I don't think they're going to end up making that much money off of this deal. After court costs and all.

yep, I figured you guys would git a kick outta the cheap's misfortune! :hammer: :-D Oh well, I reckon I'll have a good story to tell fer years to come. The best part was hang'n out with all of the die hard game'n nerds talk'n 'bout gigathis and gigathat, and who is the best at what games! :roll: It was definitely an experience, fer sure!

Man, I'm really feel'n it now fellas, almost all of 'em on ebay are going fer well over $2k now. Look at completed listings there are many going fer over $3k and check out this one, console only that went fer over $5k!!! That was my ol' squids fellas! :( Back to the drawing board! :hammer: Anyone else know how I can make a quick easy 2 grand?

I happen to be familiar with a method... It does require some up front cash though. And is pretty risky as if could land ya in prison or a graveyard. :-D
