Ducati has just debuted the new V4 Granturismo engine that will be in the Multistrada V4...and it doesn't use desmodromic valves.
and DIYers. I pretty much do all of my own maintenance except desmo valve adjustments. They are a whole order of magnitude more complex and if you ever drop a valve stem retainer it'll probably find it way into the very bowels of the engine.keeps non DIY buyers away
Actually, I see Triumph as the exact opposite of Ducati. Triumph has that special something without ANY of the ridiculous inconveniences and costs that come with Ducati ownership.Just like a Triumph, a special motorcycle that you should at least give a good look at.
All absolute BS of course but don't let a 14 tooth front drive sprocket and ECU reflash stop you from finding reality. THEN AGAIN IT IS A TRIUMPH FORUM AFTER ALL!And cam belts... and a refusal to work below 4,000rpm... and a top gear that's next to useless cause legal speeds end at around 3,500 rpm... and cheapo wiring... and...
