I posted my plans on here a couple months ago and was warned that the weather is unpredictable so I altered my plans a bit.

My plan is to put Bonnie in the back of my pickup and drive down to Dallas in 2 days. I will then take the bike off and ride her to Phoenix in 4 days if the weather is good. If the weather is not good will keep driving the truck to AZ. There I will meet up w my buddy who is flying down from the NWT. He is going to rent a Sportster and we will cruise around for 10 days. After he goes back I will ride/drive back home. Total time 3 weeks.

I know what you're thinking.....If the weather is good from Dallas to Phoenix, maybe it won't be on the way back. If it is crappy out I will rent a pickup 1 way and float her over the mountains back to Dallas.

Does this sound like a good plan?? :???:

You don't make things easy for yourself do you !!!!

Why not follow your friends idea and hire a bike when you get to your meeting point.

Whatever you decide upon, have a great ride. I'm only jealous, still winter over here and ***** cold for riding.

God Bless you! It must be a little warmer in Dallas right now. If I could do it, I'd take the bike to Brazil!
