Im pulling apart the rear wheel on my 77 T140. Im having a hard time removing the bearing locking ring and driving ring. I just want to verify they are standard thread and not reverse thread before I start putting heat to them. Ive had them soaking over night with penitrating oil .Im assuming there standard because its the same part number as the front wheel.

It's a normal right hand thread.Are you using the correct peg spanner?It's easy enough to make a spanner to do the job.
