What's up everyone, Long time rider (started on dirt bikes as a kid) and bought my first Triumph back in 2019. Been riding street since 2012. I am a luxury car mechanic by trade and when everything tanked during Covid I found work at a small shop that did classic Triumph restorations. I already had my bike by then, but became much better acquainted with classics and Triumphs history in general. I am that guy with too many projects, but some day I would love to own a vintage Triumph. Probably a Bonneville or TT special since I built a few. But for now I am very happy with my 18' T120 Black and can't ride it enough! Cheers!

Thank you, the pic is a small dry lake bed not far from Barstow Ca. I was camping and doing some 4x4 and dirt bike riding and camped right on the lake bed. I remove the rear driveshaft on my 4x4 when I flat tow it with my truck and I stupidly left it lying in the dirt. I went home and the next day realized I probably left it out there and decided to do a rescue mission on the T120. I rode for 3 hours, half of which was lane splitting traffic. Did about 6 miles of relatively flat sand/dirt trails and the bike surprisingly did well, although the weight was a bit much. Made It to the lakebed, took a few photos and retrieved the driveshaft. Rode home in time for supper.

Welcome. We have a lot in common. I worked the So.Cal import auto garages for years back in the 70-80's. Left the trade and went back to school to become a Stationary Engineer. Been retired now from L.A. Local 501 for years. Gearhead to the bone. ...J.D.
