Is it necessary to remove the front wheel to swap the front fender? I'd like to replace my Bonnie fender with a Thrux fender, but I don't have a lift to remove my front wheel. It looks, like I could just reach in with a wrench to loosen the bolts, but I certainly couldn't torque it down afterwards.

You might be able to but it won't be easy. I started down that path when I swapped mine but ended up taking the wheel off. I don't have a lift either... I strapped mine to a tree branch and just cranked it up til I had enough clearance. Probably not OSHA approved but it worked.

Did it with my front fender swap. It was not a big deal. You may have to "Sacrifice" the niffty cable holder on the left side to expedite matters. Box wrench worked fine on those inside bolts, though it takes some time.
