Hi guys,
I've got 15,000km up on the Tiger, and overall she's a great ride. I am thinking about a minor upgrade to the suspension though as I find it a little harsh on the rough stuff. I'm thinking a rebuild of the rear OEM shock with setup to my weight will do the trick.

There are 2 specialist suspension workshops within 40mins of me in Western Sydney: Terry Hay's ShockTreatment and TecknicRacing.

Does any one have any experience with either and/or a recommendation?

Maxton are a specialist suspension co in UK and they've told me that the rear unit on my 05 Tiger is not rebuildable,so need to upgrade to improve which I'm still pondering about. Hagon is cheapest option and from there it's how much you want to spend...

suspension

Hi guys
I have had a few upgrades over the years and Terry has played his part in some of that and the racetech product he uses is GREAT ,the front suspension on my 105,000 km tiger is all racetech I have sent Terry my TLR1000 shock and I lived in Brisbane at the time . My 2001 tiger shock was nonrebuildable so I now have a WILBERS (is yours)
GOOD LUCK

I think Maxton are trying to sell you a new one. This thread on the other site http://tigertriple.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=3869&highlight=rebuild shows they can be rebuilt with a bit of effort & knowhow.
