Do I get the bars for the 2003 and newer Suzuki SV650, or the 1999-2002 SV650?

Are any modifications necessary?

Type #1 does not fit GS500F

You want type 2 bars I think the difference in years is a switch kit that you do not need. Buy th Type 2 03-06.
