Is it the Matte black with the white lettering?
... Here is what I did.
If the scratch isn't all the way through the the white underlying Triumph sticker, use a a matte finish clear that comes in a spray can and spray a little paint into a container, then use a soft, long bristle artist brush to lay the paint inside the scratch, build it up in layers to get proper depth.. use just a plain clear if the top coat is shiny.
For a gloss finish, let it dry for at least a week and you "may" be able to sand VERY lightly and buff with a light polishing compound... The results will depend entirely on the paint being used... I keep 2 part clears around (paint and hardener) So I can get near perfect results.
The good part about using spray can paint, If you don't like the results, you can wipe away with mineral spirits and start over.
