Yes, I know the sound of the fuel system pressurizing is normal, but that sound turned from a normal 2-3 second "buzz" to a 2-3 second "whine" the last time I started it. Based on some research I've done, it seems to be the fuel pressure regulator. Perhaps the cold is a factor. Its my first winter with a 955i. I know its nothing to worry about, and the engine runs perfectly fine, I was just a little alarmed.Am I mistaken about the fuel pump priming to pressure when the key is selected to on and not the start button being pressed? It's normal!
