Yeah, i should mention that the pit-bull is flawless, wish i had gotten the front stand that lifts from steering head. The DMP stand works alright, but since the S3 (at least my 07) the bottoms of the forks on each side sit at slightly different heights (too accomodate the axle pinch bolts) it doesn't quite sit right in the stand. I am looking to modify it some way, or sell to a friend who can use it and pick up a proper pitbull.
I can see the reason for getting a pit-bull because of servicing your own bike, but is it necessary to prop the bike for the winter? I take it this is to keep the tires from flat-spotting? Can't I just roll the bike around a bit? Then again, I do like stands.
