Hello all. Anyone else come across this. On my 2006 ST the rebound adjustment screw on the bottom of the rear shock is on the left hand side of the bike but the Triumph handbook shows and states that it is on the right. Has the shock been fitted wrong or assembled wrong? I don't think its cause for concern as its still accessible, just odd. :hammer:

not to worry. there are several "misprints" in the manual.

try resetting your trip meters according to the book :-D

Ewan. The book got it wrong with this one. took me a while to locate the screw, hadn't realised that triumph were playing hide and seek games with us.
PS the book also says that the head lights are H4 when the 05/06 sprint takes H7 globes.

Uh! You think you guys got problems!

When I first got my '04 my manual was in German which is really handy except I don't read German very well except for "achtung" and "verboten: etc :-D :-D :-D

Dealer soon provided me with a nice English version............... I got to keep the German one in case I ever learn it.

Ah I can see it now.

Dave goes to Germany. "How many tickets sir?" the young tour operator asks in German.

Dave replies (in flawless German but of course with the double-curse of Kiwi accented strine), "Please insert part A in Part B rotate counter clockwise 3 turns, when fully locked tighten to 20NM" :roflmoa2:
