Hiya Sprint Owners,

I have been given the green light to get a sport touring bike by my wife. Right now the Sprint ST is my choice. Can't get enough of that 1050 stuff. Anyhow, I do want to be thorough in my research and ask you all if during your purchase you looked at the BMW K1200GT and how it compares with the ST, and what tipped you towards the Sprint. What are your thoughts?

I've had a couple of BMW K's, the downturn in quality and the upturn in price turned me away from buying another. They stopped being a good solid bike after the K1100RS. The Sprint is a Sports Tourer with the empasis on 'Sports' and that's the way I like it. They are every bit as reliable as a BMW and you walk away from the deal with $$ in your pocket. I reckon they're the best thing on the road right now (un-biased opinion of course) :-D

the sprints a great bike and i love mine,

however if your talking 2 up touring for
a long weekend, i would get the boxer
that the California CHP rides, the RT

i see real nice ones go for 9k-11k
and they have great ergo's

i think the K bike is too expensive,
and heavy, the boxer carries it's weight
much lower, and has alot of room for a couple
to use.
