Hi all

Anyone had any trouble with condensation in any of the clocks on their Sprint 1050 ?

Bought mine new at the end of June this year (06).

Lovingly washed and dryed it last weekend - no hosepipe or pressure washer. Left it out in the sun to dry off completely.
Came to put it away and a band of condensation had appeared in the digital trip computer ! :(

Refered it to the dealer early in the week and told today that they are still in 'negotiation' with Triumph about replacement under warranty.

Can't figure out why there should be any need for 'negotiaton' myself on a 4 month old (3000 mile) bike. :???:

Be interested to here if others have had the same problem.

Thanks in advance

Sunshine in England is merely an illusion that's foisted on the populous by the powers that be in order to prevent mass insanity. Everyone outside of England knows that the sun seldom, if ever, shines on the British. :-D

Seriously though, I've never heard anyone mention condensation inside the gauges of any of the Sprints. It has to be fault that should be covered under warranty by Triumph. Don't let them weasel out of replacing the cluster

Nice bike Encee,
I havent ever had trouble with mine but then mine is an '04 and we all know they are so very good :-D :hammer: .

I did have that problem however on my last Suzuki GSX R600 and I kept blowing the globe in the tacho, I always thought it was moisture.

Good luck with the big "T" hopefully they will come good on it.

cheers,
Davem
