Anyone know what is the most comfortable seat for a Speedmaster, for the passenger? Is the Triumph "pillion seat" good or not? The standard seat is not great for my wife, but I don't have a clue what to get. :???:

No, at least according to my wife it is not comfortable for anything more than a 15 minute ride. I had the Speedmaster seat swapped for the America seats when I bought it cause I thought it would be a better pillion. Nope.

There was some recent discussion on BA.com about the touring seat being better.

I gotta say there'd be a second "NO" from my wife. :(

I haven't used one, but I did see a pretty nice Corbin on another guys America. It wasn't really my style, but I was actually surprised by the fit & finish since I had heard of some pretty questionable fitments by others.

The stock Speedmaster seat is OK for very short rides around town and so on.
I kept mine for riding solo.

If you want to keep your passenger happy and in the saddle for more than 45 minutes, get the Triumph touring seat and add the sissy bar. It's really the only way to go for 2-up riding.
FYI, the wife is only like a size 4 or 5 (US). A wee little thing.

The sissy bar changes the look of the bike, but in a good way I think.
Good luck!

My wife would not even sit on the stock gunner seat. I went with the america seat except for the pillion I upgraded and went with the one with the strap and she hasn't complained a bit and she is not little ie, 55kg like simo's wife.
