Gotta love those Roo's don't ya. Knew a guy who came badly unstuck between Jerramunglup (think that is how you spell it) and Albany after a Boomer stepped out in front of him back in the 80's. Gotta have a Shoo Roo on the bike somewhere if you do a lot of night riding in the bush.

Sorry to hear that burny but as they say, at least you are around to tell the tale. Since I got my bike, I have been more aware of the roo road kill aroung here in Canberra cos it's so dry with the drought etc. Roos must be one of the dumbest animals I've ever seen though. Whilst I have been lucky to avoid them myself, I once saw one which was at the side of the road just sitting there when a van went past pretty slowly and the roo just jumped into the side of it. It was like it didn't want to live anymore. So if they do that, what hope has anyone got. Certainly makes me think that when night riding, there is the doubly wammy of avoiding the 4 wheelers and the cute kanga killers. :)
Good luck with getting the bike back on the road.
