hi there.
The bike is a 2002 Speed Triple. In black.
So I've got the infamous speedometer magnet failure described here: 03 955i speedo problem
While planning for the front wheel disassemble I read on haynes that:
718505

Note the "clamp bolts (A) on each fork"
Now this is a snapshot of my right-hand-side fork (where the hell are they?) clamps bolts:
718506

So it seems I have no right-hand-side clamp bolts.

Not complaining. Just can't find any information on this... does this mean the triple has suffered a fork change in the past?

It says 2002 onwards so maybe they changed the spindle design around that time and yours is just before?
if it's a spindle with a threaded end in the fork leg such as yours I think it's only normally clamped on the other side around the larger section of the spindle with the hexagon in.
