'Bout time we got together to do some ridin'. We don't live that far from each other.

It'll give y'all a chance to slap Limey around a bit for posting sarcastic remarks to yer posts. :-D :hammer:

Dirt usually when I travel north on the Pike I swing west to 75 then to the Sawgrass to avoid the crazy downtown Ft Lauderdale drivers. If that is okay we can either meet along 75 or one of the Sawgrass exits. Just name it and a time and I'll be there.

Oh, BTW, my Speedy is white, so it may look like the filling of an Oreo riding between all the black bikes.
does the sawgrass go straight to bee line?...I 75 aint that close to me...i live in north east miami...so it might be too much outta the way...we could always just all meet up at that shell if its too much of a pain in the azz...

How 'bout we meet up at that Shell station on the Beeline by Moroso around 9-9:30 on the 19th? Limey or Spindlbeak can pick a route around the lake, and we can have lunch at the Queen Mary - I owe Limey lunch, anyway.
For those of us coming up from the south - north on I-95 to Blue Heron (exit 76, after 45th St) west about 1/2 a mile to the the Beeline HWY, and northwest about 13 miles to the gas station.
You can also run up the turnpike to PGA and take it west to the Beeline, and continue west about 6 miles to the gas station.
If you pass Moroso, you went too far!

Trip around the Lake from Broward is about 320 miles, round trip
by the looks of that pub's website it'll be closed on the 19th
I'm OK with meeting either at I-95 at Copans or Sample, the Turnpike at Pompano Service Plaza or Sample, or where the Sawgrass meets the Turnpike in Deerfield Beach. Whatever y'all decide is fine by me.

If the Queen Mary is closed on the 19th, maybe Limey or Spindlbeak can suggest another local.

so, who's in so far? Dirt, me, Dragon, Spindl, Hoostine and Limey?
Black, Black, White, Black, Black?, Black

any blue, green or pizz yellow? :-D :-D
You guys meet somewhere, I'll take care of the route and entertainment. I should have my buddie with me on his Busa, so we might have to take it slow. If ya like I could organize a BBQ at my place, if not there is plenty of places for lunch. :-D :-D
I am in too. So just to confirm, we are meeting at the Shell station on the Beeline between 9 and 9:30am on the 19th?

See you all there.

By the way, Limey, how are those foot pegs working out? :hammer:
OK, so its Dirt, me, Dragon, Spindl, Hoostine, Limey and Busa guy.

That makes Black, Black, White, Black, Blue, Black and Busa-color.

I guess we'll slow down every ten miles or so to let the four-cylinder catch up :-D :-D

Too bad Cheap can't make it down. Flat-land riding is more challenging than he thinks. :)
I wished I could meet up with all of you fools. Take it ez on the Busa feller, he's actually a purdy cool guy. You guys have fun and be safe. Wanna see some pics of all the hooligan bikes together, kick the Busa outta the pics(jk T-bob  :-D )

i'm prob gonna ride straight up the turnpike...if you want to meet along it just pick any of those places and i'll be there, let me know, otherwise we can all just meet at that shell

Limey-what ever ya wanna do for lunch is cool...
I will ride up the pike and meet at the Pompano Plaza. What time do you want to meet there to make sure we are at the Shell station by 930?
Dragon and Dirt,

I'd say Pompano Service Plaza at 8:00-8:15. The gas station is about 65 miles from there, so we should get up there by 9:00 and hang out til the others arrive.

We'll firm up times by next weekend.

Alright I will be at Pompano Plaza NLT 0800. Lets just reconfirm on Saturday or Sunday. Limey have you found us a place to hang out after the ride?
All those speed triples in one place. Alert the constabulary!

Highly recommended - meet up some place where there's decent coffee (dunno, sometimes those convenient stores have a passable brew).
I'll have the older black one - be gentle.

Barry
OK, so that means 7 Speedies (5 black, 1 white, 1 blue) and a Busa. :-D :-D .
Don't worry Barry you can always hang with me. Even though I ride aggressively for some, it might seem mild mannered for others. However it is not like your Grandfather. I don't take unnecessary risks just for the sake of "showing off."
Just another reply to keep this near the top of the list. See you guys soon.
