... saddlebag brackets to work on a Bonneville and had pictures. Does anyone recall who and where those pics are in the albums? The brackets had a much neater appearance than the Triumph ones, not to mention a great price.

You might be thinking of my brackets, they are not specifically for Sportsters, but were listed as fitting "big twins". They fit pretty well, you just have to make a spacer to fit them to the frame. They are made by Drag Specialties, part number DS110854. I do not remember where I bought them, but it was one of the British bike parts on-line stores and they were $46. Built my own with some pics from others on this form.

Actually New Bonneville. com has a good price on aftermarket bars.

Luggage Brackets

Also for bags would suggest the Willie and Max Bags. Have been very pleased with the ones I got.
