Hi y'all.
I am going to make some modifcations and would appreciate any help on the matters below...

1. Wheels
This bike with Dymag wheels is great but the price tag is a bit high end and I'd have to fly them in.
Does anyone know if some of the three/five spoke wheels on Japanese bikes fit the t100?

2. Bub exhaust
Wrote to Bub and one of the sales people said the pipes had a heat shield so they don't blue, but I saw a pic showing them they do.
Which is louder - Bub or DnD?

3. I like my Renntec luggage rack but I want to shorten the fender. Is it better to cut the fender or by the elimination kit from Newbonneville.com ?

Thanks in advance.

I have a Moto Twin rear fender on my bike and it does not affect the mounting of any accessories, such as back rest, luggage rack or saddle bags. I do not think Moto Twin is around any more, but I think Triumph is now offering a similar fender in the "68" collection.

While it is certainly not as trick looking as the one you're showing, it does keep stock tires and such. That rear tire is much bigger than stock, as is the front so you will probably have to give up aspirations of using frame mounted accessories with that trick set up.

I have the Bub system and so far only have a straw color after a thousand miles, but there is no heat shield. The system is LOUD, can't imagine anything else out there would be any louder. The mufflers are extremely light, about 1/3 the weight of a TOR muffler.

Stu,

My Bubs never got worse than a light straw color as well. Good stuff, that Bub. Too bad THEY ONLY PRODUCE THEM ONCE A YEAR !!! I could sell them all day long if the factory only had them in-stock.
