Whilst passing the time in a local bike shop, I noticed that they were selling a solar powered trickle charger by Oxford (£35 if I remember rightly). Has anyone had any experience of one of these devices? I did an internet search and found you can actually buy a generic solar charger with the same specs for half that price.
Has anyone out there tried one of these? As my garage has no power and I would like to keep my alarm powered up, it could be an ideal solution over the coming months.

cheers all

Wow! 16 year old question and no answer! I'm looking for a solar trickle charger for my Street Twin's lithium battery, hence how I came across your question. Waiting on my answer from my own post. Hope you got your sorted ;-)
