Need to remove the rear wheel on the S3. Dose anyone know the size of the nut, I think it's a 45 mm?

Can you use a metric socket or do you need the special Triumph tool (T3880024)? Either way where can I find it? The biggest socket Sears carries is 42mm.

Sears has the inch equiv.
I think Harbor Freight had a set of "impact sockets" in 1" drive with a 46mm and also a 3/4" drive set with the SAE inch equivalent that includes a breaker bar. I passed on those, having no use for a pile of tools mainly used for tripping over.

I used the Sears socket and a Harbor Freight breaker bar and spent the savings on beer and hookers.
