My buddy has a 955 Daytona with a Yosh race pipe that sounds absolutely amazing. I like loud and can live with loud at cruising. That's what headphones and music are for. I have seen the Wolf and heard a soundclip. I wasn't very impressed considering the price. What does the Triumph offroad pipe I can buy for $525 sound like? Who else makes a slip on for the new ST's? Oh yeah, this is my first post and I am awaiting delivery on my 2006 Sunset Red non-ABS Sprint ST.

(Although I prefer quieter & deeper instead of loud, so my neighbors don't kill me.)

Funny thing - when You enter the Wolf Racing page
http://www.wolfracing.co.uk/main.html and select Triumph from Silencers menu, the Trident Exhaust page opens...
Tried to search the web and found nothing else for 1050 ST except Trident...

Staintune has an exhaust listed, but has TBD for a price. www.staintune.com.au
www.exoticsportbike.com carries the Wolf exhaust and I just called them and they want $1199. I can have a custom setup made for less from a local shop.

He is here in Australia but he can make you a slip on muffler and ship to you. I can assure you it is loud as I have one on my '06. Dyno reports 123hp at back wheel which is ~13hp increase from stock. It will set you back approx $850 USD plus shipping. If you are intersted I can send you some pics, if you want sound I can start her up and give it a rev or two - you should be able to hear it over there! :-D
By the way, Dennis tells me Staintune can't make a pipe for the '05 - '07 Sprint just yet, apparantly they had a go at it but failed.

I emailed Peter at Trident Exhaust and with the current exchange rate the price would be $850 shipped to the US. Also found out that exoticsportbike is not an authorized dealer for Wolf/Trident exhaust. He also sent me a sound clip of the Trident Exhaust on a Sprint ST. Noise level is 102 dB.

He said he could make me one with larger cores and change the packing to a less sound absorbing one. He said it would be louder and deeper. Just what I want. So I think I will be ordering this as soon as I get my next paycheck with all the overtime I've been doing lately. I am still going to have him put in removable baffles, just in case I get fix it tickets and need to quiet it down.

I actually live in Arizona City, 5 miles south of Casa Grande on the 10. I work in Tempe though. I may have to work Saturday, but if not I am picking the bike up on Saturday. If not Saturday then Tuesday. Let me know when your buddy is available. Just a good excuse to get more break-in miles added.
