But i`m still going to ask it!!

I just bought a 1999 tiger and my question is, would that be an 900i or a 885i.
Both keep coming up for that year and i`m wondering if it`s a european versus american type number??

Thanks

Hi and thanks,

I figured it out now, it is a 885i.
Just collected it and will be off work for a while soon, so i`ll go out and about on the Tiger!!

I`ll try to get some pics up soon.

Cheers for now,

Erik

Hi Erik,

Welcome to the forum :)

Hope you enjoy the Tiger, but not so sure on those Dutch roads - a bit too flat me thinks !!

It's marketing or convenience. The trusty Honda 110 is actually 105cc, but who would buy a Honda 105? 900 is easier to say and remember than 885. Make sure you say 885 when talking insurance, smaller is usually cheaper!
