That's right- taking the new speedy to Carolina Motorsports Park in May for a track day with the Duck boys (US Desmo).

I've raced CMP in my shifter kart, so I'm looking forward to seeing how lap times compare - I know I'm more comfortable in the kart at race speed, but the S3 has a much higher top speed on the straights. We'll see.

I'm so excited - like Cartman waiting for the Wii: "Come ooooonnnn!"

Any advice for a track day newbie?

Wow, that was fast. Having never done a track day myself, my only insight would be to ride your bike as much as possible between then and now to get familiar and comfortable with it.

It may be worth the money to talk to a shop and get your suspension set up and get the bike safety wired. You should also look into the Club's requirements on bike prep. They usually require new (or almost new tires) along with some other safety issues.
