I bought my thunderbird with Ohlins HD906 shocks, basically they are normal STX-36 with a different spring
I've tried but cant seem to adjust them to be comfy and smooth enough

The bike they are designed for has a wet weight 80kg less then the Thunderbird
Should I:
1. Get them adjusted professionally,
2. Get new springs,
3. Get new shocks, considering the ikon 7610-1688 shocks, ones designed for the bike brand and model

You should be able to crank up the preload. As long as the coils don't bottom on each other at full compression, you should be ok.
But, if you are dead set on new shocks. I got dibbs on the ohlins if you sell them. :p

I looked them up. I want full adjustability and an inch longer than stock. I am in the US so I think a fair price for you plus shipping is going to price me out.

Well the ride is better, still very harsh on some bumps, cant seem to work out what settings to put the shocks on to smooth it out.
I have 36/38psi with night dragon tires.
I did notice the front forks nearly bottom out with moderate breaking, the previous owner had the front and rear suspension changed.
