Thinking of P/Xing the TBS for a 1050 Tiger, but still bit dissapointed that the 1050 is so tall? Anyone had chance to test ride a 1050??

No but a mate has ordered one for March based on test ride. He reckons it's much more together than the old Tiger.

I sat on one at the NEC and it's too big for me to get my leg over the back seat.

If it were me I'd keep the TBS. How much are you looking for?

I reckon about £4100ish private sale, £3500ish P/X?

Too much for me. Bear in mind that you may get more p/x in the Spring. Dealers want to pay even less this time of year.

In no rush to change, waiting to see how Tiger goes on when there are a few about, there'll soon be a few demos for sale, if I do change will be before my annual Scotland tour end of April.

Go for the new Tiger it is great and I have heard nothing bad about it, if I had not changed my bike three times in 06 i would get one, trouble is wife woud leave if I trade again, maybe worth it in spring, great article in bike magazine this month of a ride from peterborough to avimore comparison between tiger, multistrada suzuki and gs and the tiger came out best.

Not having had the opportunity to road test one, I think that Triumph should've maybe made it a touch lower, I must agree that its the rear of the seat that causes problems.

Every test I've seen with the exception of MCN has raved about it. Definitely a good buy if that's the sort of thing you want.

Personally, I want a TBS to go with my S3. Maybe I'll win the lottery......

Why not take one out for a test ride yerself ?
Youles are falling over themselves offering their demo Tiger to potential buyers.

Although I've been out on the TBS over Xmas, not taking a demo bike out 'till weather a bit better, went to Youles on Sat a guy was just bringing the Tiger back after a demo he was p**s wet through...
I may get another 955i Tiger & lower it this time!!

I used to be indecisive, now I just can't make my mind up!!
Manchester bike show this weekend, might go & peruse the Tiger again, get a bid on the TBS..
