Hello alll: am a new member from Ontario, Canada with a 05 Yelllow S3.

Is there anything out there that will lower the seat height a bit? I am 5'5" and can barely touch ground. Maybe a Corbin seat? I talked to Sargent but their seat is stock height.

Any tips would be greatly appreciated! :)

Hey Bro,

There is a shock you can get to lower the bike a bit. I dont know if the seat is going to make that much difference. I'm only about 5'6" and though it took a little adjusting I dont have any problem with the heigth.

The shorter shock is by Hagon.
Here is another thread on other options. Lowering.

I'm not much taller than you and have a shorter than average inseam for my height so I'm probably in about the same boat as you. I can just get both toes down. I guess it doesn't bother me because I'm used to riding dirt bikes where I can't get either foot down without sliding off the seat. Getting both feet flat on the ground is highly over rated! I don't want to give up the ground clearance or handling, I tend to drag the soles of my boots at full lean at the stock ride height. I even increased the rear spring preload.

Thanks all for the tips. Anyone have the part # for the Hagon shock? Can't seem to find it on the website (doesn't seem to list an application for 05/06/07 S3s? Have people used a different application shock?

Modifying the seat is a viable option - I know Sargent will modify for a couple of hundred bucks to make it a little lower.
