I just installed a set of Billy bars on my T100 and I'm very pleased with them. Now, when I get in the twisties I like to lean way over. Has anyone scraped pegs with the Billybar setup? Will the rider pegs contact first? There seems to be a great potential for chaos with the Billy bar set up when you look at that long leverageable piece of steel sticking out the side of your bike 5 inches from the fulcrum. It looks like it's just waiting to get bent or, worst case scenario, perhaps it will act as a celestial polevault. Shouldn't let my imagination run too wild I suppose but I've been riding long enough to expect the unexpected.

I am pretty sure the bike would be sliding on the ground before the bars would hit.
The pegs would have to fold on them first before the bar would hit.

scraping pegs

You might be right. I just went outside and gave the bike a good eyeballing and I'm pretty sure that the rider peg would come in contact before the Billy bar.
Thanks,
Buck
