just a question as an innocent (well, maybe not very innocent) bystander. Lowering the bike will effectively make the sidestand longer. Does the bike lean enough that the stock sidestand is okay? A friend of mine loered his 800 tiger had to get a different sidestand.
The Scrambler leans over incredibly far on the sidestand. The Tiger 800 is far more upright on the sidestand. I don't think you'll need to worry.

I have lowered my 2006 Scrambler 2 cm, front and back. The side stand can handle that. In the garage I still put a peace of wood under the stand to keep it more upright. That's also a good way to see how lowering will effect the bike; put something of the same hight that you want to lower the bike under the stand.
