I have one of each and the Sargent is my favorite, without piping. I don't like the piping because it makes a seam under your leg.

The Corbin quality is great just a bit firm. the Corbin is still comfortable even though very firm compared to the Sargent.

The Sargent is just right.

I have bought corbins for all my bikes. The one on my speed triple is the most comfy seat on any of my bikes. The quality is amazing. It is hard, but looks good, specially with the carbon fiber finish.

I have a sargent seat on my st1100 and it numbs my ass. Id rather wish i a corbin on it. But its comfortable enough.

Never had the factory seat, I bought my bike used and it had the Triumph Gel seat.. It wasn't too bad, but still got "burn" after 150 miles or so..
Picked up a used Sargent seat and love it!! I've never had a seat that once your butt gets to burn stranding up for a few seconds and reseating feels great!! Have done a few 600mi days and wouldn't hesitate to do it again...

I have had Corbin's before they are like sitting on a brick and never really seem to break in. They use only one density of closed cell foam and one is for all weight philosophy. I think I will try the Sargent on the S3 and they have a 30 day money back guarantee if you are not satisfied. Just MHO though......

I have the Corbin and really like it over the stock part. I do not find it too firm at all. It fits like a glove after the initial break in of 4-5 longer riding sessions.

But I will say the fiberglass underside is NOT as nice as the molded one on the Sargent.

What Devi said, though I am still tempted by the Sarge. I will say that the Sargent people are much, much nicer and accomodating than the Corbin people I dealt with.

I love :hihi: my Sargent saddle. Very comfy and a big improvement over the stock seat. Longest trip was 4 hours and never thought about the saddle once. With the stock saddle I was constantly moving about. The underseat container is a nice tough. I have a CarbonFX with blue piping. :-D
