Great thread silkie you have transformed that bike.

I'm in the middle of a recomissiong/light resto of my Trident, the last few jobs I want to tackle are to tidy some grotty parts of the engine casings, get the exhaust system tidied up/replaced depending on funds!

I wondered if you had to tidy up your casings? Mine are also black and slightly textured, if you did, did you manage to find a suitable paint/process?

Ps. I have chickens, just your standard brown layers from the local free range farm.

My casings were OK so didn't have to mess with them at all. I hear PJ1 is good match for them though but never seen the finish for myself.

Been and while... well they are on. Not much mileage done with them just yet. Mind you I have a run this weekend and meeting Mot in London the weekend after. 110bhp she gives these days. Considering some head work maybe in a few years, maybe not, who knows!
