Hey all. Can anyone give me a step by step lesson on replacing the spark plugs on my 2012 Thruxton. Or a link to a video showing it done. Trying to become a little more handy. And the local bike shop doesn't sell wrenches.

Make sure you clean out the spark plug well or you could risk small stones and other road debris falling into the engine

Make sure that the new crush washers go in with the new plugs. Put a bit of anti-seize on the new threads and don't overtighten them. Put dielectric grease on the terminals.

You need a Craftsman 18mm spark plug socket or a thin-wall deep 18mm socket. Kobalt (Lowes) deep 18mm socket is the same diameter as the Craftsman item, or it was when I last looked at it.

I've found that the gap on new plugs is usually where it needs to be, although you should still check it.
