Has anyone done this before?
I've just attempted to change the centre stand (which broke after 10 years) but I cant see how to remove it from the bushes which effectively hold it in place. The bushes need to be removed before the stand can be freed. Can they be drifted out or are they integral with the mounting plates - in which case I'd have to dismantle most of the bike by the look of it!
The manual as usual is particularly unhelpful...
..or am I missing something..... :???:
Any help gratefully received as ever.

Bushes? not sure of your British terminology.
I just installed a center stand on a 97 Sprint.

'The bolts that hold the center stand in place just screw in.
As to the springs, be careful as they are connected WAY
up in the engine block.

feeel free to email me if you need some advice or help

Thanks for your help. I must admit I did start trying to drift out the bushes but seemed to be having to hit them harder than I expected...and they didnt move.
I'll soak them in WD and have another go!!
