Speaking of which. If you are looking for a cheap rear stand, I have one for sale. I have a 2007 Speed Triple. It is one that I got from Triumph directly. If you are interested, and live in the continental U.S., I can sell very cheap.
What you really want is an ABBA Stand http: www.abbastands.co.uk !. A few more beans perhaps, but with it you can remove the rear wheel/suspension. Also if you are a big girl like I am and ride "infrequently" in the winter months, you can use a simple ratchet strap around the handlebars et voila! Both the front and rear suspension are off the ground. No more slowly sagging suspension or flat spots on the tyres.
